Supportive Services Manager
Under the Supervision of the Clinical Director, this position oversees the Supportive Services Department with a focus on housing services and peer support/recovery coach services. The goal of the department is to provide supportive services to clients of OneEighty to assist them in reaching their goals. The Supportive Services Manager seeks to assess needs of clients and gaps in services in the community and create programming to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency and move out of poverty. The Supportive Services Manager is also a leader in the Housing Region determined by the state.
Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The Supportive Services Manager maintains a professional demeanor and adheres to ethical, moral, legal and clinical practice standards established by professional organizations and governing entities. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Maintaining strict confidentiality of client issues and OneEighty matters as defined by professional ethics and applicable laws. b. Maintaining a therapeutic relationship with appropriate boundaries. c. Maintaining records in accordance with standards established by professional organizations and national organizations providing certification.
2. The Supportive Services Manager fosters a positive and professional image of OneEighty in the community. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with community social service agencies and referral sources. b. Providing community education as the opportunity arises.
3. The Supportive Services Manager promotes a team treatment approach and a positive working environment at OneEighty. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Demonstrating a willingness to collaborate with colleagues to improve services. b. Attending workshops and professional meetings to continuously develop professional skills. c. Attending staff meetings, community meetings, and trainings as requested.
4. The Supportive Services Manager maintains a supportive services program for clients using principles consistent with OneEighty philosophy. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Interview clients requesting housing services and refer them to programs as appropriate. b. Provide clients with crisis intervention and referrals as needed. c. Provide encouragement and support individual goals. d. Work with primary therapists and other members of the treatment team to assist client with treatment goals. e. Maintain communication with clients and provide outreach services. f. Complete accurate documentation about clients. g. Complete all paperwork necessary for management information and billing purposes. h. Linking clients with supportive services, including 12 step recovery groups and other recovery activities. i. Develop new peer supports as needed.
5. The Supportive Services Manager manages all departmental grants including, but not limited to:
a. Writing grants and completing required reports by deadlines. b. Tracking expenditures and data as required including the Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS). c. Monitoring of subgrantees. d. Monitoring state correspondence and communicating information to OneEighty and the Region. e. Schedule, create agenda, and facilitate regional meetings. f. Ensure our program is in compliance with state and federal requirements.
6. The Supportive Services Manager completes performance reviews of subordinates in a timely fashion and manages team schedules to adequately provide services to clients.
Work Schedule and Benefits: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some evening hours may be required.
Recovery Coach
Under the Supervision of the Supportive Services Manager, this part-time position provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to clients who have self-identified as desiring peer supports, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from addiction and/or mental illness.
Essential Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
- Work with peers to identify wellness and recovery goals. Assist peers in creating a wellness plan that identifies the individuals’ self-determined goals, as well as specific objectives to carry out these goals.
- Exemplifies recovery principles in order to show by example that recovery is possible and attainable.
- Coordinate and consult with other team members and partner organizations to keep team informed of issues and progress.
- Ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.
- Document all peer contact at time of service.
- Work with Team Supervisor to develop and support new programming.
- Receive regular supervision from the Team Supervisor, seeking additional supervision whenever necessary.
- Attends all staff meeting and trainings as required.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder.
- Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty’s vehicle insurance.
- Must be certified in CPR and First Aid.

Coalition Prevention Specialist
Under the Supervision of the Community Health & Wellness Director, this position will help facilitate a broad-based, community approach to AToD prevention using community coalitions aimed at affecting environmental change and increasing abstinence among youth while promoting healthy alternatives.
Essential Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- To assist in arranging technical assistance, support and training for assigned Coalitions, as required or desired.
- To work with the Senior Coalition Specialist to ensure a level of communication between Turning Point Coalition, CIRCLE Coalition, Chippewa Cares, and Rittman SALT, and OneEighty, which will enable collaboration when possible.
- To help assigned Coalition leadership facilitate and to attend assigned monthly Coalition meetings.
- To attend assigned Coalitions’ committee meetings.
- To assist Coalition leadership with the organization of assigned Coalition meetings.
- To work with the leadership of assigned Coalitions to help ensure the timely implementation of objectives and activities outlined in strategic plans/logic models, using the Strategic Prevention Framework and other prevention/wellness best practices.
- Help identify potential funding sources to provide continuation funding of the Coalitions’ projects and needs to help ensure capacity and sustainability.
- To assist in member and partner recruitment to help ensure capacity and sustainability of assigned Coalitions.
- To help ensure coordination of daily efforts by the entire Coalition staff support team through team work and communication.
- Work with the Community Health & Wellness Department staff members, other OneEighty departments as needed, and with community partners to assure a coordinated, non-duplicative approach to substance abuse prevention.
- To provide information needed for evaluation and reporting efforts in conjunction with the Director of Community Health & Wellness, the Senior Coalition Specialist, and the Quality Improvement Director, in order to meet the expectations of funders, certifying agencies and OneEighty.
- Provide monthly progress reports to Coalition leadership and OneEighty’s administration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Certified Prevention Specialist or registered candidate preferred. (If the successful candidate is not already certified or registered, he/she will be expected to work his/her certification as an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist I or higher.) Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Public Relations, Communications or related field required. Knowledge of substance abuse prevention, experience in community organizing, social media, and local residency preferred.

Under the Supervision of the Executive Director, this position performs a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safeguarding of staff, clients, visitors and property.
Essential Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises on foot, to provide incident prevention and detect signs of criminal or suspicious activity.
- Provide inspection services and route security checks at properties in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Deescalate difficult situations by remaining calm, being empathetic and maintaining impulse control.
- Observe and report hazardous or unusual conditions.
- Remains alert to emergency situations and provides first-line response, emergency management, and/or referral if required.

Residential Case Manager
Under the Supervision of the Residential Services Manager, this position assists in the recovery of persons suffering from the effects of substance abuse, dependency through assessment of client needs within the community, linkage with community resources, and transitioning clients successfully to various levels of care. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Counseling required, Master’s degree preferred. One-year experience in the field of substance abuse counseling, preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age since there are children in the facility.

Searching for chemical dependency and mental health counselors to provide treatment in our outpatient setting. Knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and experience working with victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault is preferred. Knowledge of substance abuse and addiction treatment preferred. Master’s Degree required with Independently licensed preferred.
Justice Center Counselor
Searching for a full-time chemical dependency counselor to provide treatment to jail inmates at the Wayne County Jail. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other related degree required. A graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology is preferred. Licensed in Ohio or license eligible. Knowledge of substance abuse/addiction treatment and trauma treatment preferred.
Residential Support Specialist Positions
Searching to fill prn (as needed) residential house monitoring positions in our Men’s and Woman’s Residential facilities where the goal is to assist clients in the recovery process and to oversee the general functioning of the house. PRN positions often lead to regular part time and full time employment. Must be 21 years of age. High school diploma/GED is required for this position.

Searching to fill prn (as needed) Shelter Support Specialists to provide support and crisis intervention for survivors of domestic violence at our Emergency Shelter. Must be 21 years of age.
