Growing from school-based organization, Chippewa Cares transformed into a coalition in 2010. As community members, the coalition volunteers are working together to reduce the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by Chippewa youth. Potential volunteers are invited to join the coalition’s regular meetings, usually the second Monday of each month, at 7 p.m. in the library of Chippewa Middle School. Chippewa Cares serves all of Chippewa Township, including Doylestown. Visit www.chippewacares.org for more information about the coalition. (The coalition’s website is live, but under construction. You can also contact STEPS’ Community Coalition Coordinator.)
