Taking STEPS to Build a Healthier Community

News & Events

STEPS at Liberty Center, a program of Liberty Center Connections (LCC), provides evidence-based, dynamic and effective training to addiction professionals, social workers, counselors, case managers, health and human services personnel, educators and others. Our professional training sessions incorporate the latest research findings and are carefully designed for maximum impact.  Each of our instructors has the experience, knowledge and presentation skills necessary to reach diverse audiences in diverse settings.

LCC is designated as a Continuing Education Provider through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

If you’re interested in a keynote speaker for a large conference or someone to lead small-group workshops, LCC’s team of dedicated professionals stands ready to help you shape your program, execute it and then evaluate the results. Our fees vary and we regularly present in schools, community agencies, drug treatment centers, youth organizations and health care facilities.

A training collaborative between STEPS and The Village Network also allows us to provide a more affordable means for professionals and clinicians to fulfill requirements toward credentialing. The Lunchtime Series Training is scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month at STEPS. For more information contact Cheryl Thomas at STEPS at [email protected] or by calling 330-264-8498.
